About this Pattern:
I love reading and of course, I always use a bookmark. Sometimes it is an old receipt, and sometimes it's a real bookmark. But now that I write my own patterns, I use my own crocheted bookmarks.

At the moment, there is a Beaded Flower Bookmark in my book. But that doesn't really fit the time of year. It is October, after all. When I think of October, I think of autumn and Halloween, not flowers.

So of course, I made a bookmark that is more suitable for this time of year: a spiderweb.

You can crochet it very quickly (it took me about 45 minutes) and there are no complicated stitches. So it is great for beginners. And an extra bonus: No-Sew!

If you enjoy what I do, please consider supporting me! Every little bit means the world! Click here: Ko-fi.
Thank you so much!

Happy crocheting!

Web:
Now you will make the web. Use Web Colour.

Start with a MC. Work into the MC:
ch 3 (counts as first tr), ch 2, (1 tr, ch 2) x5.  Pull the MC closed. Sl st to the third chain of the starting chain to close the round.

In the last row, work the trebles into the trebles of the previous row.

Last row:
ch 3 (counts as first tr), ch 4, 3 sl st back down the chain, ch 6, (1 tr, ch 4, starting in the second chain from the hook: 3 sl st back down the chain, ch 6) x5.
Sl st to the third chain of the starting chain to close the round.

Now chain as many as you need to make your bookmark long enough to fit your books.
Sl st to one of the stitches on the bum of the spider. Work with the right side facing you and the wrong side facing the back.

Fasten off and weave in any ends.
